Lehrperson

After completing my studies in Education in New York, USA, I began my teaching journey surrounded by the energy of the suburbs that raised me. My early career took me from the vibrant classrooms of New York to the warm and welcoming communities of Savannah, Georgia. Each place offered new lessons, new challenges and new reasons to fall in love with education.

A few years later, I felt drawn toward a new horizon. I moved to Switzerland in 2019 with the hope of exploring my passion for teaching English in an international setting. Since then, I have taught in various schools in Baselland (and now Zürich), experiences that have deepened my appreciation for multicultural learning environments and the beauty of adapting education to diverse learners.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in passion, patience, and empathy. I believe these qualities open the door to genuine connection, allowing every student to feel seen, supported, and valued. I aim to create an atmosphere where curiosity is encouraged, creativity shines, and critical thinking becomes second nature. For me, a classroom should be a space where every learner feels safe to explore, question, and grow.

Teaching continues to shape me in ways I never expected. Every group of students brings fresh perspectives, new challenges, and meaningful moments that stay with me long after the school day ends. I feel fortunate to spend my days doing work that inspires me, and I look forward to all the learning and growing still ahead.
