Lorna Paterson

Klassenlehrperson 4. Primarklasse

After graduating from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, I started my teaching career in a small village school in the Scottish Borders. In 2009, my international teaching career began at the Zurich International School and then led me from Switzerland to India, onto Scotland and back to Switzerland again. Over the years, I have taught in a number of schools, across various primary age classes, as well as teaching English as an additional language.

I am passionate about the integration of technology in the classroom to promote student learning. I love seeing how technology can enhance learning and engagement as well as develop students‘ creativity and allow for more learner centred experiences.

I love to teach, but I also love to learn – and teaching offers lots of opportunities for learning. Whether it’s researching a topic related to student interests or questions or exploring new ideas for how to teach something. I get to explore new ideas a lot and I learn something new every day!
