Craig Pearson

I qualified as a primary school teacher at the University of Northumbria before working in primary schools in Scotland for five years. I have a passion for literacy and enjoy teaching various genres of writing. I have been fortunate to have taken part in professional learning; exploring reading. I am enthusiastic about helping all children to enjoy their books. Prior to working as a primary school teacher, I worked in museum education as well as teaching English as a foreign language. In my own time I enjoy playing football, learning German, swimming and history.

I am proud to call Switzerland and Terra Nova my home. From joining Terra Nova in August 2019, I loved how welcoming the school felt, I really felt at home here! I was impressed by how kind and considerate the children were but, moreover, how keen and enthusiastic they were to share their learning. What motivates me is helping to inspire learners to be confident and reflect on their own progress. I enjoy working as part of a talented team in an open and friendly atmosphere.
