Isabelle Callebaut 

I come from the north of France where I did my formal studies to become a teacher.

In 2012, after living in the Netherlands for a few years with my family, I moved to Switzerland with my husband and my three daughters.

Since 2014 I have been teaching French to children as a «HSK Primar Lehrerin» (Native Language and Culture primary teacher), focusing on the language and culture of France. In parallel I have also been teaching French to 5^th and 6^th grade students in an international bilingual school since 2018.

My aim is to share my knowledge and inspire a passion for my mother tongue language and its culture. In order to optimise my teaching and make the learning easier, I don’t hesitate to vary the methods I use in presenting new information via fun and engaging materials that will motivate my students.

I value a positive learning atmosphere and adapt to each of my students considering the learning process for each individual and the support they need to bring out the best in them.
