Terra Nova Bilingual School turns 25! Our anniversary review today looks back to the school year 1999/2000: The school grows continuously and for the first time it also has a Grade 5 primary class. The first trip abroad to Rome takes place for the Grades 4 and 5 linked with the annual theme "The Romans". Much fun was celebrating 100 Days of school. The top two floors of Florastrasse 19 are now completely occupied by Terra Nova. The Grade 1-5 students are taught on the top floor, and the music room, teachers' lounge and reception are located on the 2nd floor. The kindergarten is now located at Werkenstrasse 4. Christian Renggli joined our team as our drama teacher and still, 20 years later, continues to work with our upper primary students in the areas of media and drama. ... Terra Nova Bilingual School turns 25! Our anniversary review today looks back to the school year 1998/99: The school acquired a new school bus, a first class camp took place in Stäfa and Terra Nova now also had a primary Grade 3 and 4. At Florastrasse 19, the 2nd floor is added, giving more space for the kindergarten and for shared offices. Renovations took place transferring this space from a factory to an atmosphere ideal for learning. Terra Nova continues to grow: 56 students attend our school. Our anniversary review today looks back to the school year 1997/98: Already in the second year of the school, Terra Nova has more than doubled in size and taught 30 students. In addition to kindergarten and Grade 1, there is now also a Grade 2 primary class.
