‘Christmas wishes’ was our theme for this year’s Advent Week. We enjoyed starting the week by reading a magical story: ‘The Broken Ornament’. The story is about a little boy called Jack who wishes to have the best Christmas ever! He breaks his mother’s precious Christmas tree ornament and hopes with a little Christmas magic to replace it. The story inspired us to write our own versions of the story, to create tree ornaments and to share special wishes with one another. We were happy to welcome many parents and other family members on Monday and Thursday for singing and crafting. It was a special end to the week and the year! On Friday morning the whole school came together again for a final assembly. Many classes shared their work and we all wished one another Happy Holidays!
