25 years of Terra Nova

We are celebrating the 25th anniversary of our school in 2021. On this occasion, our year 6 students worked on an anniversary magazine over the past six months: from the “initial idea” to the finished product. And Elizabeth Suter, our principal, riffled through the school archives. We look back on the past 25 years and revisited our school history – the result is a chronicle in pictures and words.

Anniversary magazine

The year 6 completed the project “Anniversary Magazine”. Accompanied by their teacher Melanie Seitz, the class designed layouts, planned stories with interviewees and thought about the cover. After a kick-off in April on layout and corporate identity with Academia’s graphic designer and marketing specialist Manuel Meyer, the class started with the design, a photo shoot and the preparation of the magazine’s content. And then at the beginning of June – after a forced break due to Corona – the magazine went to press. We are very proud to present the digital PDF version of the magazine and hope you enjoy reading it!

Our school history – a retrospective retold in pictures

We have revisited the school history and are publishing a review of each school year including photos in small bites throughout 2021. You can find this anniversary series on Facebook: www.facebook.com/TerraNovaBilingualSchool
