After school clubs

The Terra Nova Bilingual School is also here for our students after regular lessons have ended. A varied range of recreational courses after classes have finished makes it possible for children and young students to pursue special interests and talents. After school there is also the possibility to do homework and prepare for tests with the support of a teacher.

Each week the children will learn a new skill in the kitchen and make some yummy food to go along with it. There will be different techniques and menus each week which will be introduced and prepared in a safe, child-friendly manner. The aim of the course is to wake the children’s interest in food preparation and how much it can be.

Course Instructor

Before Mrs. Osborne became a teacher, she thought of becoming a chef and had applied to culinary school. However, she soon realized that her real passion is working with children and teaching. She has been teaching at Terra Nova for three years now in our Kindergarten classes, but her love for cooking continues and she enjoys hosting dinners and experimenting with new dishes. Just as much as she loves teaching, she also relishes learning, especially about new cuisines and ways to use ingredients. She decided to blend her two favorite activities into one and bring her love for cooking to the classroom with the children. She is excited to explore the world of food with them!
