After school clubs

The Terra Nova Bilingual School is also here for our students after regular lessons have ended. A varied range of recreational courses after classes have finished makes it possible for children and young students to pursue special interests and talents. After school there is also the possibility to do homework and prepare for tests with the support of a teacher.

Course Description

Architecture is the art of designing, planning and constructing buildings, structures, environments, communities and cities. Architecture is also about decisionmaking, problem-solving and sustainable thinking.

The children will experience the art of architecture and learn by creating projects with a specific theme or choosing their own idea. The children work on the difference between 2D and 3D dimension creating his own 3D models such as cubes and pyramids. Experimenting with many materials such as clay, wood, carton and other textures they create their own models.

Course Instructor

Olympia Georgoudaki is an architect and urban planner. She is practicing architecture for more than 15 years in Switzerland. She offers many courses and workshops for children and she is very excited to bring architecture into the children’s world!
